I awoke to my son entering my room. Given that Miguel's two years old, and had to get through his own closed door to reach our room, I guess that means he's mastered doors now. Not that I minded getting up at 6:30 AM. I've done it all week, but it is the first day of Christmas vacation, after all. I was hoping for at least eight AM. Of course, that means he can open the door whenever he wants to. Case in point, naptime. I put him down for a nap, and about ten minutes later, he comes into our bedroom. I put him back in bed, close the door, and wait. About two minutes later, he opens the door, only to be met by "angry daddy" who bellows "Go back to bed!" The door slams and I hear feet scurry on the carpet back to his bed. He's asleep now. ~MP |
