10:08pm: Hectic Week
It's been a hectic week, and it's only Thursday.

We had our Aquarena center fieldtrip earlier today. For those that like the photomontages I've done before, I'll have the new one up when I get a chance to go through the photos.

We finished relatively on time, but as we were leaving, a train stopped on the tracks, blocking our access on the road leading to Interstate 35 to get back to SA. After waiting for about twenty-five minutes, our busdriver gave up and tried to find his way out of San Marcos through surface streets.

We got back to SPC at about 4:45.

I still had to pick up my wife at SAC, so I did so around 5:05, fought downtown rush-hour traffic to get to the daycare to pick up my son Miguel, then off to the WalMart at Culebra and 1604.

See, Miguel is 20 months old (as of yesterday) and we've been running periously close to running out of diapers. Well, we did finally, and had to get some. Since he sleeps 11-12 hours a night, he needs to overnight diapers, which strangely enough, most stores don't carry. So when we run out of those we have to go to WalMart to get them.

Anyway, by the time we ate dinner (hastily done at McDonalds at WalMart) and did the shopping, and got home, it was eight. Of course, the boy wasn't ready for sleep yet, so we fed and played with him until nine, when we disposed of him in bed.

I got the package I ordered earlier this week. I ordered sleeves so I could sleeve up a couple of decks I've had - my Blue Untapping Monstrosity and my Stompy deck (currently running between six land and eight lands, depending on my mood)

I also bought some of the DND Miniatures that WOTC sells. I ordered a common set from the last released set (set in the UnderDark realm) for $9.99. I've played a few miniatures games, and since I have a DND game currently ongoing, I thought it'd be nice to bring some miniatures to the setting.

As I said, I ordered the common set. I got the complete set instead. I hope my card doesn't get charged the additional $240.

Oh well. Academic Friday tomorrow. I passed back the Logic tests today that students took on Wednesday. It frustrates me to know that if they cut out the answers on the review and pasted them on the test, they'd get all the proofs right. Of course, it's my fault they didn't pass.

(at least in their eyes.)

DND Friday night. A welcome diversion.

Talk to you later.
